Our Process

  • We discuss with you the particulars of the positions you’re hiring for, including your timelines. While we consult with you on the specifics of each role, our clients have a much higher rate of success when they are able to clearly articulate what they need and why.

  • We select the best candidates from our research and preliminary screening process to present to you. We will review the resumes together, and at this point, you will decide who to interview (and who not to interview).

    It is extremely valuable to us when clients share why they chose not to interview a candidate. That way, we know not to recommend other similar candidates.

  • We work with you to schedule formal interviews at times that are convenient for you. While you’re meeting each candidate, we are continuously re-assessing the pool of potential candidates. If we identify another strong potential for your organization, we will bring this to your attention and give you the opportunity to interview them, too.

  • After the first round of interviews, we will meet again for a “debriefing” on each candidate. We will review the process from a timing perspective and then schedule second- and third-round interviews.

    In most cases, this results in an offer to one of the candidates. At KMP Search, we can extend the offer on your behalf, although many of our clients choose to make the offer directly.

  • We stay in touch post-hire with both the hiring manager and the candidate to make sure both parties are excited and enthusiastic about the placement. We know we’ve done our job when we follow-up with a client or candidate several months later and learn how they’ve grown within the organization and how they’ve helped the company to be more successful.
